After a few idle minutes, the pet wanders around the screen holding a little sign with the time, your limits and the last task that finished. 30 antics, never the same one twice in a row.

Body, outline, details, nose, eyes and accent, each in the colour you want. Round, big or sleepy eyes.

Miblos on the same network visit each other: the pet leaves one screen and walks into the other, for a Friday deploy or a coffee.
A companion that knows when to step aside
It is a pet with a job. The moment a session needs you, the alert comes first, over any pet antic, and when a long task finishes there is a small fanfare. Your sessions and usage limits are one glance away.

Nothing is approved without you
Miblo never approves anything on its own: each permission request waits for your answer, on your computer or your phone. Automatic approval exists only if you turn it on for a task, and every approval goes into the audit log on your computer.
Your AI works the same without Miblo. Miblo watches and tells you; if it stops, your AI goes on as if it weren't there.

Questions
What is an AI desk companion?
A small device on your desk that keeps you company while your AI works. Miblo Desk is one: a 240 × 240 screen with a pet that lives on it, and the status of Claude Code, Codex and your other AI coding agents.
Is it an AI Tamagotchi?
It is a virtual pet for developers, in that spirit, but it never asks you to feed it or keep it alive. It plays when you stop, keeps out of the way while you work and lets the AI's alerts come first.
Does the pet talk to me or use AI?
No. The pet is drawn by the Miblo firmware on the device itself, with our own techniques for a small screen. What it shows about your AI comes from the AI coding agents running on your computer, over your local network.
How many pets are there?
20, each with its own habit in pet mode, plus “My pet”, the one you draw in Miblo Studio.
Do the pets really visit each other?
Yes. Miblos on the same network visit each other: the pet leaves one screen and walks into the other.
Which AI agents does it work with?
Claude Code (terminal, the Claude desktop Code tab and the VS Code, Cursor and JetBrains extensions), Codex, GitHub Copilot CLI, Gemini CLI, OpenCode and Cursor, on macOS, Windows and Linux.
